A Heart Enraptured by the Prophet’s Love: Running to Medina out of Love

The heart that falls in love with the Prophet rushes repeatedly towards Medina in this world, where people love the most deeply; his name is Hazrat Mohammad (peace be upon him). You will see those who have fallen in love with him, desiring him with their heart, their eyes, and their soul—wanting him with everything they have. This love is such that people do not think about wealth in order to win; they only think, ‘How can I go to Medina, so I can sit beside the beloved Prophet’s Rawza Sharif and cry a little?’ The lovers of the Prophet go to Medina again and again; some for Hajj, some for Umrah, and some just for him. The heart pulls so strongly that there is no peace until they see him. The soil of Medina is like a medicine, hiding the peace of the soul within it. Those who are falling in love see Medina as the dearest city. The name of the Prophet (PBUH) resonates in the air, in the sky, and on the streets—everywhere. Someone quietly sits and prays, ‘O Messenger of Allah, I have come, and I have come again.’ Someone wishes for the privilege to cross the path to Paradise with this love.

`This is pure love. In that love, tears fall, and in that love, people change. Those who fall in love with the Prophet know that love means to follow the path shown by him, and whenever they get a chance, they go to Madinah and weep. In short: those who are in love with the Prophet and go to Madinah again and again are the luckiest. Because they know where the real peace of this world is and whom true love is for.
